The Monroe Virtual Charter Middle School offers over 80 on line courses and other hands on academic activities for credit. While the curriculum is rigorous, students and parents have almost complete flexibility in choosing a program that will meet individual needs.

Examples of on line classes include: Art, Keyboarding, Chinese, English as a Second Language, French, German, Japanese, Latin, Russian, Spanish, Fitness, Basic Nutrition, Health Occupations, English, Spelling, Literature, Reading, Recreational Reading, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, 7th Grade Math, Guitar, Piano, Physical Education, Weight Control, Science, World History, United States History, Self Guidance.

The school will also accept as transfer credits courses completed by home schooled students, provided there is a structured curriculum and the tests were proctored.
