In times of cutting back, on almost every budget known to man we have simply got to make a commitment to the youth of our great nation. We owe them the right to an education in whatever format that learner needs to have it introduced to them in. Kudos to Monroe School District for keeping this program in place when I'm sure there were many other places your money could have gone to. I work with a physician and author who has spent 40 years teaching about how every child learns differently. Monroe School District virtual school gives struggling students another vehicle that gets them the education they need while they are still engaged with the desire to learn.
