Hello. I am Ron Olson, Business Administrator for the School District of Monroe. On July 1, 2006 I assumed my new position as Business Administrator for the School District of Monroe. Previously, I had been at the Northland Pines School District in Eagle River, Wisconsin for five years and at the School District of Argyle in Argyle, Wisconsin for eight years. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin--Platteville.
I look forward to my work here in Monroe as it is a community and school district that has shown a commitment to quality education for all students.
I am very excited to hear about the good things that happen at our Virtual School. I truly believe that this type of educational experiences is a benefit to many students, as not all students learn the same way. The traditional school that holds the curriculum the same for all students is often not a realistic approach for today’s diverse students and their needs. Our Virtual School is a great chance for some students to learn the way they want to learn, and at a pace and a location that is a benefit to them.
