My name is MeLinda Mulryan-Gehin, but everyone calls me Mindy. I grew up in a small town about an hour away from Madison. I attended UW-La Crosse and received my bachelors in history and political science. Two years later I attended Edgewood College to obtain my social studies teaching license. I am currently taking classes at UW-Whitewater to get my special education license and masters. I have worked in the Madison Metropolitan School District and most recently in the Belleville School District. I have also coached volleyball and cross-country.
In my spare time I enjoy running, biking and being outdoors. I have been competing in triathlons for several years and in 2006 participated in the Ironman Wisconsin Triathlon. I have been married for almost two years. My husband and I enjoy spending time with our two dogs. We have a female brindle boxer named Vegas and a male boxer-American bulldog mix named Capone. They keep us busier than we ever expected! My husband works on his parent’s dairy farm just a few miles from our home. Between the two of us we have one niece and eight nephews!
I look forward to working with the students and staff within the Monroe Virtual School Program!
