Hello, my name is Jeff Schaal. Being a teacher is something I realized I wanted to pursue while still in high school. I have enjoyed my years in the classroom and am looking forward to connecting with students by way of the Virtual School. I am looking forward to sharing the opportunities that the Virtual School makes available to students.
I graduated from UW Platteville in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. My major was in Biology with a minor in Physical Education/Athletic Coaching. In 1992 I returned to school to broaden my certification to include Physical Science and expand the grade levels I am eligible to teach to sixth through twelfth grades. I have taught at both the high school and middle school levels.
On of the things I have learned from my experience with young people is that everyone has unique and individual learning styles. The Monroe Virtual School offers all students the opportunity to realize success by developing individualized programs, which will meet their needs. I am committed to working together with students and families to help accomplish this goal.
