Hello! My name is Michael Kaszuba and I am a teacher at the Monroe Virtual High School. Becoming a teacher was a dream fulfilled. I truly enjoy working with young men and women and watching them grow. I look forward to meeting my students as the year progresses.
Born and raised in Chicago, IL to the children of Polish immigrants, family, culture and the importance of education were instilled in me from an early age. I attended Albert G. Lane Technical High School majoring in music, and then went to DePaul University in Chicago earning my B.M. in Trombone Performance. I earned my Master's Degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder and enlisted in the Army, playing trombone in Wiesbaden and then Mannheim, Germany. Those were five exciting years of my life! I currently live in Monroe with my beautiful wife Shannon and our three wonderful children.
